Feelin' Boho

I'm in love with a great bohemian look. Flowy dress, beachy hair, fringe bag, and a carefree spirit. I enjoy the winter but searching through my Pinterest I find myself longing for a warm day. It wouldn't hurt if I was on a beach somewhere either. Here are just a few of my favorite bohemian inspirationscolors

I just got this flowy, gorgeous dress from Free People recently and I'm so incredibly excited for warm weather to get the chance to wear it!

Creativity Block

After a long hiatus from my blogging I've decided to delve back into it. I hit this wall of "what can I write about that's interesting that people would like to read." And actually I realized it was more of an issue of me being at a place where I didn't feel interesting or creatively fulfilled. Just recently I started doing some work for Junk Gypsy and I realized I was doubting myself but that I had it within me to do great things.

My life is not as exciting as it use to be. Don't get me wrong I'm still very busy, just in a very different way. I love DIY projects and getting crafty but with two toddlers with me all the time I don't get much done anymore. It's the season of life I'm in and I'm blessed beyond belief. There's nothing more than getting to spend time with my babes and loving this beautiful life I'm living right now. I thank God everyday for my amazing life and all the blessings I've been given. There are plenty of times that I would love to get my creative fix but it just doesn't come as easy and most of the time at the end of the day I just need a little down time. People, I'm talking 'sitting my bum on the couch and watching trash tv'. This is where I need to start taking my creative time and being as productive as possible.
need this in my house!

I've decided to take this blog and make it a therapeutic outlet where I can show off my accomplishments and be more accountable for the things that make me happy. Sometimes you need to stop talking and just start doing. I've got big dreams and now is the time to start making time for to make things happen. "The dream is free, but the hustle is sold separately." -by Noel Shiveley

Etsy Art

I am a HUGE fan of Etsy! You can find some really amazing stuff! It's a home-made movement that really gives artists the opportunity to get some exposure and share their lovely art with the world. I'm so glad they do. These are a few of the many pieces I'm going to purchase for my babes playroom and bedrooms.

Inspiration for my Woman Cave

We just bought our first home and I'm inspired to turn it into 'ours'! I love that there is a little bungalow in our backyard and I plan on turning it into my beloved hideaway, a.k.a. "the woman cave", a.k.a. "lady lair"! I want it to be a place I can be inspired, unwind after a long day, and somewhere I can call my very own! Here are some images that have me inspired.

These chandeliers would be sooooo beautiful!
silver spangle chandelier - 3 ft long! LOVE THESE

I might repaint my armoire for my art supplies in this gorgeous shade of lovely
peacock blue.

I've always wanted a fainting couch and this one from Urban Outfitters would be perfect!

This chair would be awesome! Not sure it's practical for a crafting spot but hey, a girl can dream, right!?!

This beauty by Jennifer Moreman would be a great addition to my decor in my lady lair!

This rug from Urban Outfitters would fit right in!

It would be so lovely if these would grow right outside my little hideaway

and my sweet bungalow definitely needs a little pink door!

There will be lots of before and after pictures coming soon! Until then...xoxo

A little masculine, a little feminine, natural elements, soothing environment, and a nice cozy bed--that about sums up what I want my bedroom to embody. Here are a few bedroom inspiration pictures that I've had pinned. You can follow me here: http://pinterest.com/katiebelle08/for-the-home/
